First off I want to address the fact that last season we dropped for the shear reason that CAL-Walker made a poor decision giving some newbie clan a forfiet win which to me was un justified. I tried getting the motion overruled however, the other officials where not helpful and it frankly wasen't worth my time. Second, I am letting Hightek run the cs divison under, my occational parental supervision of coarse, so if you need anything go to him. I have updated the roster with new members. Any questions just email me, I believe our first match is this Thursday. I will be playing on that match, however, I don't think I will be playing regularly because my classes are rather heavy this semester. Thanks.

Lots of stuff to cover on this new post. First off, ETG is totally owned. We have moved to Gamesnet now and we have lots of support too :). We were also moved up to CAL-im after going 5-3 in our first season of CAL-o. We replay our first match after some 'technical difficulties' on monday. Tune in for more updates as we go.

Well, the practicing has been paying off. We did very well against that last clan on Tuesday. In my eyes we won the game, however, we are being forced to forfiet the game due to Shprot not supplying a valid demo. He did not type stop before he quit half-life so the demo was corrupted and CAL officials could not view it. I blame myself for rushing everybody into that. I think everybodies demos got corrupted, I know mine did because I Ctrl+alt+del'd out of the game before typing stop in console. So guys for future, for recording demos type "record <name of demo>" to start recording, and before you disconnect from the server type "stop". Do it after each half so you will have two demos for each match. Thanks.

I can not explain what happened during match 2. I guess we just were not ready to play a clan of that level. The communication and positioning was there, however, the skill was not. Some more practice on clan2_fire would have helped. As for match 3 on cobble. Good playing :) On a finer note, I have added a status column on our roster section. Starters will be based on the heirarchy of the ranks and availability those members.

Yet again, we have to register for CAL. The new webpage can be found at this link. Everyone needs to reenter their information into the webpage. The old webpage will still be up, so you can get your WON id from there. There is some extra info that they require such as address and phone numbers etc. If you don't feel comfortable giving this information out put down false info but don't try to leave the spaces blank. The registration will not complete until all of the spaces are full. That site is still in its beta stages so I am sure they will make it so you aren't forced to put false info in. Also, If you haven't noticd we have a wonderful new logo made by frostbyte, thank em if you see him around.

We won our first match, very well played everybody. I think from now on everybody should take advantage of the voice usage in cs. It totally helped our game in thist last match. I made a txt file of steps to be followed before and during match times. I don't want to get DQ'd for any reason but also, we have to follow the rules of CAL. Please view this text file and read it. Next match is to be played on de_clan2_fire. For anyone that doesn't have it plz download it from that link. Also, please welcome evil and enslaved to the clan. Chronic is also making a return to cs. So you can give him a kiss whenever you see him. I will be choosing starters in the next couple of days. I am going to purpose offical practice day and time with in the next couple of days. I want every to tell me their availability. The way I am going to pick who plays in the match, is "whoever goes to practices, plays in the match". Also guys, you all know we have matches every tuesday around 9 unless stated otherwise. So be online before gametime, atleast an hour. I don't want any more bullshit about having to get stressed out about people not showing up in time. If you think you won't make it in time email me. I will check my email more then I check irc. Also I WILL be picking 5 starters, so practice hard.

In fewer words 'we got owned'. This is a good lesson, practice the map before you play it. Anyways, I need you guys to be online atleast 45 min before gametime. Yowhu all know when gametime is usually a week in advance. Remember, all games in CAL must be played before 7:30pm east on tuesdays. If think you can't make it let me know and I will try to reschedule with the opposing clan. The CAL data base got wiped out, however, everything was recovered accept for the rosters. I readded everyone to the rosters, so take the time to reenter your won id. The temp pass is dr77f2 . ALso, please take a look at the rules to avoid any other problems. Next map for CAL is de_clan1_mill so get together and practice it. .

The CAL preseason will be starting up next tuesday. Who ever hasen't finished entering your won id onto the CALwebsite, please do so. If you play in a match, and your won id isn't posted or doesn't match the one on the website, we could be disqualified. Thats all, get practicing!

Well, school has been going great from me, and this summer I will be taking one class. Provided that I get a laptop, I will be able to play on the ethernet which means 20 ping to our server. I am slowly updating the page and have added the new members, and 3 of our 9 cs matches. I am also thinking of getting stats put on the server along with cheating death, and putting a link from with the server information.

Tomorrow I am cancelling my DSL tomorrow morning, and giving this pc back. If you guys need to reach me just email me. I am still gonna check it and use the internet on campus but it will be just for class and the occational drop in on irc. Anyways, thats about it. Cya

I am going to have to say good by to the internet for a while. I need to concentrate on school, and figure out what my priorities are. I did poorly in the summer class that I was taking, quake + cs + work + class = bad grades. I still want to have a lan in August but after that, I will be done from the internet for a while. I will only be on the check my mail etc, and that will be from a pc lab. I am choosing not to get a new motherboard for my pc, so that will make sure that my addiction doesn't get the best of me. Maybe in few months, I will be able to manage my time better, but as for now I need to concentrate fully on school. Thats all I have to really say, just keep the shit going guys. I am out. Thanks.
